The Bill (Reg. No. 5063) regulates relations in the field of agricultural produce insurance with the governmental financial assistance in order to protect property interests of agricultural producers.
The importance of the Bill is apparent, as the results of agricultural activity depend on the weather conditions and are threatened by the factors beyond the influence of an economic entity.
Pursuant to the Bill, the subjects of relations in the field of agricultural produce insurance with the governmental financial assistance are the insurers, the insured, their associations, public authority and local self-government bodies.
The People´s Deputies stressed that the Bill envisaged foundation of the State Agency for Agricultural Risks Administration.
